Tarp Configuration...

Ok I know I was going to do some posts of the equipment and things I was taking this weekend but since I have been running around town and the farm all day... well... I am still not done packing. I will be leaving in the morning so......
Enjoy a couple shots of the tarp I am taking and one of the setups I will be trying:

See you after the weekend!
Thanks, Decado.

  1. Wow that's a neat config. Your right about the short notice for the camp, I'm going to a concert tonight (Friday). Too bad though cause I need to escape for a while.

  2. Didn't the open side bother you? I was thinking that closing it off would act to hold the air in, for insulation...

  3. I found the only thing it holds in is the moisture. As long as the wind is coming from the right direction its not bad.

  4. When I see stuff like this it always makes me wonder how in the world people live(d) in the outdoors where I live now in Central Minnesota. With the bugs, the torrential rain, the vermin, etc. I would have a tough time.

Back where I'm from in Colorado, I would sleep in something like this almost year round! Some nights, it would feel like too much protection.

Where are you planning on using this?
